Product Specifications The liquid de-icing material shall be an agricultural by-product de-icer/enhancer that is a blend of 80% liquid magnesium chloride and molasses offering corrosion inhibition, stockpile retention, residual effect and ice-melting capacity. The following are physical properties of the liquid de-icer: o Non-staining brown. o PH 3 to 5. o Specific Gravity 1.29g/mL. o Must be capable of application to salt at a rate of 8 to 10 gallons per ton o Freeze point temperature minus 45 F
