AREA: Property fence line along Goldsberry St and along the WPD south property line that abuts private property parcel 47 Summer St (Jim and Son). PREPARATION: All work areas and surrounding areas must be protected during construction. The contractor must also secure the work area with temporary barricades and/or cones to protect the public and city employees from construction activities and hazards created during the work process. REMOVAL OF THE FOLLOWING: All fencing materials presently in place that will be replaced to include all top & bracing rails, terminal posts, line posts, and entrance way gate overhang rails. All concrete footings shall be removed unless removal causes damage to the existing asphalt, parking lot and/or city sidewalks. INSTALLATION OF NEW FENCE: The contractor shall install 595 ft of commercial grade 6’ high black chain link fence. The chain link material shall consist of the following: • 72” 9GA black 2” mesh KK fusion bond chain link fabric • 1-5/8” black PolyKote MG-40 top & bracing rail • 2-7/8 black PolyKote MG-40 terminal post in concrete footing • 2-3/8” black PolyKote MG-40 line post in concrete footing • Post 10’ on center in concrete footing; 8” wide x 36” deep • Color plus fusion bond black coil spring bottom tension wire *** Sono tubes and rebar cages NOT required *** PRODUCT/MATERIALS: All materials required to complete the proper installation of the fence shall be supplied by the contractor. CLEAN UP: The contractor is responsible for the removal and disposal of all unused material, trash, debris, tools, equipment, etc.
