The purpose of this RFI is to obtain detailed information about VR and AR training solutions that: • Provide realistic, immersive law enforcement training simulations. • Allow for customizable scenarios reflecting local policies, laws, and community issues. • Support training in de-escalation, use of force, crisis intervention, tactical operations, and other core policing functions. • Offer performance tracking, reporting, and feedback mechanisms. • Ensure scalability and sustainability across multiple training facilities statewide. MPTC seeks to better understand the capabilities, technical requirements, costs, support models, and industry best practices related to VR/AR training systems for law enforcement.
