Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Department of Youth Services facility, located at 450 Canterbury Street, Roslindale, MA is in operations 24 hours a day and will need to maintain grounds to ensure the safety and security of employees and visitors. Contractor shall begin snowplowing operations whenever the accumulation of snow exceeds two (2) inches. Contractor shall make its best effort to sufficiently clear all areas for safe access to the facility by 6:00 AM Monday –Sunday. Snowplowing shall be completed in such a manner to enable the daily operational procedures to be maintained with minimal loss of parking areas for employees and visitors to the facility. Contractor shall ensure all parking areas, loading dock, walkways and fire hydrants are cleared of snow. When requested, the contractor will be required to remove accumulated snow from the preceding storms to allow for safer parking conditions as well as allow for effective snow plowing operations.
