Specifications include, but are not limited to: connection with this RFQ, the Authority is implementing a change from its current policy of restricting event security to that provided by an “exclusive� security provider of to an “approved� event security providers, all who shall have the opportunity to contract directly with Authority customers/licensees. All security firms interested in providing such event security services must be pre-qualified and approved by the Authority. The Authority provides its own security services (full time and part time) department that maintains 24 hour coverage for the BCEC and Hynes Center facilities perimeter areas, internal corridors and life safety alarm systems. With this RFQ, security firms that are deemed pre-qualified may provide event security only within the leased areas being used from the time of initial occupancy until completion of move-out and as required by the Authority’s customers/licensees and in accordance with the Terms and Conditions of the Approved Vendor Event Security Agreement and the Approved Security Requirements, the Authority’s Event Planning Guide containing minimum security coverage requirements, the Authority’s Code of Conduct and the Authority’s rules and regulations as maybe amended from time to time.
