Specifications include, but are not limited to: The scope of services is generally defined as noted below. Firms submitting qualifications are required toinclude information on how this scope of services will be addressed, including a timeline relative to thetasks defined. All work under this contract shall be completed within sixty days from the date of theNotice to Proceed. The resultant Comprehensive Energy Study shall prioritize future Town of Great Barrington's buildingsand/or facilities' energy efficiency and/or renewable energy projects based on cost effectiveness, energysavings and emissions reduction. The resultant Energy Reduction Plan will establish a plan to achieve a20% reduction in energy use over a 5 year span from the baseline FY2011(07/01/2010 06/30/2011) toFY 2016 (07/01/2015 06/30/2016).The following list of measures are required and are presented toassist responders in understanding the Town's expectation.1. Perform energy auditing for target users and prepare reports including recommendations forenergy use improvement. Reports shall include recommendations by such categories as: capitalimprovements education & user training and other areas of improvement. Provide cost estimates& scope of work for specific buildings.2. Provide in excel format fuel types, projected costs and cost payback scenarios for energy useimprovements for each facility.3. Research federal & state grant opportunities for energy improvement expenditure, and makerecommendations for the timing and applications for such grants.4. Design training programs as needed to achieve energy use reduction goals.5. Identify utility rebates and incorporate them into the design of the CES and ERP.6. Attend at least three meetings with the Energy CommitteeIt is the intent of this Request for Proposals to provide complete, detailed, timely, professional servicesfor the completion of the project. Incidental items necessary to complete this work shall be consideredincluded in the respondent's proposal whether or not such items are specifically listed
