The purpose of this procurement is for the Town of Andover to contract with qualified companies from which the Department of Facilities may select a contractor who is capable of performing emergency on-call asbestos & environmental abatement removal services at any time when the Department does not have the available resources to do so. The selected Contractor(s) shall be expected to perform routine and emergency services at such facilities as municipal buildings,schools, garages and sewer pump stations. Servicesinclude, but are not limited to, removal of asbestos containing pipe insulation material, removal of asbestos containing tank insulation, removal of floor tiles containing asbestos material, removal of wall plaster containing asbestos material, removal of mastics that contain asbestos, removal of glazing and caulking materials containing asbestos or lead, removal/remediation of mold, removal and handling of universal wastes, removal of paint that contains lead and cleaning and removal of lead from an Andover Police Department shooting range.
