Task 1 – Assessment of existing HVAC Systems. The selected Registered Design Professional (RDP) or other qualified entity will conduct an inspection of HVAC Systems for operational integrity. The RDP will prepare a report documenting the existing condition of each HVAC System and any necessary structural or code related repairs and replacements. The RDP shall produce a report detailing the recommended repairs or replacements for each of the five (5) locations and an estimated construction cost for each system. RDP shall provide 2 hard copies and an electronic PDF document. All site visits must be coordinated through the Parking Director and shall not interfere with the operations of any location. Task 2 – Design The RDP will prepare a set of plans, technical specifications, and estimated construction costs for any work needed to bring the HVAC systems up to current code. 100% Construction plans and technical specifications shall be stamped by a Massachusetts Registered Design Professional and complete for the City to put out to bid. Cost estimate for the entire project shall be prepared as one complete plan, technical specification and construction document/recommendation.
