The Town of Fairhaven is soliciting quotes from qualified vendors to furnish and install Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Stations at various municipal locations throughout the Town. The purpose of this project is to expand public EV infrastructure in support of sustainability goals and compliance with state EV policy initiatives. The following municipal properties are included in this scope: • Fort Phoenix Parking Lot – Green Street • West Island Town Beach – Fir Street • Cushman Park – 154 Green Street • Department of Public Works (DPW) – 5 Arsene Street • Recreation Department – 227 Huttleston Avenue Each site will receive one (1) dual-port Level 2 EV charging station, for a total of six charging ports townwide. The selected vendor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, permitting, and project management necessary for a complete and operational turnkey installation at each location. Work shall include: • Site-specific electrical design and stamped engineering plans • Installation of new or upgraded electrical infrastructure, including: o Trenching and conduit work o Transformers, disconnects, and service panels (where applicable) • Delivery and installation of dual-port Level 2 EV charging stations at each site • Provision of all required hardware for secure, networked operation of stations • ADA-compliant striping, signage, and accessibility upgrades at each location • Installation of protective bollards or other barriers • Coordination with local utility for electrical service connections • Obtaining and managing all required permits • Start-up, commissioning, and verification of operational functionality • Removal and disposal of construction debris • Submission of required documentation and inspection coordination with the Massachusetts Electric Vehicle Incentive Program (EVIP)
