The Plymouth County Sheriff’s Office is seeking to procure a mobile command trailer designed for unmanned aerial system (UAS) operations. This trailer will serve as a fully self-sufficient command and control unit that enhances the Office’s ability to conduct search and rescue missions, tactical deployments, and public safety operations across Plymouth County and surrounding jurisdictions. The unit must be capable of supporting extended UAS operations in challenging terrain and densely populated areas, where communication signals are often degraded. To address these challenges, the trailer shall include integrated signal-boosting antenna systems to extend drone coverage, minimize signal loss, and ensure uninterrupted live video and command/control in hilly environments, wooded areas, and thickly settled neighborhoods. With integrated power, climate control, safety systems, and organized workstations, the trailer would enable efficient, all-weather coordination of UAS missions. The inclusion of exterior media and lighting features further supports field operations and public safety visibility. In addition to robust communication capabilities, the trailer should provide: • At least 7’ x 16’ enclosed trailer with 84” interior height. • Rear ramp door, curbside 32” walk door, and 96” exterior media bay door curbside. ⸻ Vehicle Interior / Insulation / Walls / Ceiling / Floor • Minimum of 84” standing headroom. • Fully insulated with walls and ceiling panels for thermal protection and sound deadening. • Walls and ceiling covered with FRP paneling. ⸻ Workstation Console • Counter surfaces finished with dry erase board material. • Raceways for cable routing throughout the trailer. • Two flight/command stations, each with (2) 27” or larger HD monitors on fixed mounts (four monitors total). • One command station connected to exterior flight antennas and controllable from operator stations. ⸻ Upper Storage Cabinets • Overhead cabinets above the flight command stations that include outlets for battery and accessory charging. • Matching stand-up cabinet at the counter end.
