Specifications include, but are not limited to: New construction of the Dr. Albert B. Consentino Middle School totaling 183,128 GSF will hold 1,080 students grades 5-8. The new Consentino Middle School will be located adjacent to the existing school in the current field. Demolition and sitework will follow, after completion and move-in to the new school. The Consentino Middle School consists of classrooms, offices, science labs, gymnasium, cafetorium, art and music rooms, and technology rooms. The new school consists of one 4-story building where the conventional classrooms reside, and entry through one 2-story building where the mechanical, gymnasium, kitchen, cafetorium, and other recreational facilities are located. The project also includes a new parking lot, landscaping, utilities, and playground area. This will be a phased project. The existing Consentino Middle School and Silver Hill Elementary school, nearby, will be in session throughout the duration of the project.
