This is a request for market research information purposes only and does not constitute an Invitation for Bid or a Request for Proposal and should not be considered as a commitment on the part of the Government. The Government is specifically interested in your experience with stand-alone, vehicle/ATV transportable, multi-sensor modality including night vision (NV)/infrared (IR) capable security systems, able to operate geographically dispersed from the Base Defense Operations Center (BDOC). The Government is also interested in the ability for the operator to view and manipulate IDS equipment through a web-based user interface, with the capability to store up to 72 hours of accessible video coverage. Requested systems must be able to minimally withstand and operate during environmental conditions of 40-120 degrees Fahrenheit, hail up to 3-inches in diameter, thunderstorms, and include electrical grounding and impact resistance with water and dust prevention at IP 65 minimum. Deviations to stated environmental considerations are acceptable but must be identified in the response. Information on available IDS sustainment and training support options are also requested. For planning purposes, assume the area required to be surveilled to be an external base perimeter, and base security zone in a non-contested desert environment.
