The successful bidder shall provide one (1) truck meeting the following minimum technical specifications: • Model Year: 2005 or newer • Mileage: Less than 100,000 miles at time of delivery • Engine: Diesel-powered • Transmission: Automatic • Capacity: Minimum 1,000-gallon liquid tank • Applicator System: 3-lane liquid deicing chemical applicator with calibrated controls • Light Package: Proper lighting for the vehicles intended use • Condition: Road-ready, fully operational, and free of major defects • Location/Inspection: Vehicle must be located within a 25-mile drive from the DPW Yard located at 301 Broad Street in Fitchburg, Massachusetts, and available for inspection by the Commissioner of Public Works or their designee before an award is made.
