1) Develop and Update Educational Materials The Contractor will be responsible for developing and updating educational materials as needed. This includes providing comprehensive, locally relevant information on the base building energy code, the Stretch Energy Code, and the Specialized Code. These materials will serve three key audiences: i. Municipalities considering adopting the Stretch Energy Code ii. Municipalities considering adopting the Specialized Code iii. Municipalities that have already adopted the Stretch or Specialized code and require further information to preserve the bylaw Educational materials should be clear and engaging, and in print and electronic formats. General educational materials will be needed, as well as materials specifically tailored to the communities requesting outreach. This includes adapting previously developed materials and creating new resources. All updated and newly developed materials are subject to DOER’s written approval before distribution or use. 2) Deliver Educational Presentations The Contractor will be required to deliver educational presentations statewide on the educational materials developed under the first deliverable as provided for above. Presentations may be requested both in person and virtually, as requested at local public meetings.
