The Instructional Technologist consultant will provide high quality technology professional development for the 14Title II-D Enhancing Education Through Technology (EETT) Competitive Grant awarded buildings. The overarchingpurpose of the EETT Competitive Grant is to improve student academic achievement through the use oftechnology. The grant achieves this purpose by providing high quality professional development for teachers touse off-the-shelf, standards-based elementary technology curriculum and tools (Compass Learning, HoughtonMifflin Destination Math/Reading, PLATO) and other technology resources to increase student achievement inmath, reading, and technology. The consultants will assist EETT building staff in all areas of grantimplementation by provide each of the 14 schools 10 days of high-quality professional developmentincluding the following:· provide instructor-led training on integrating grant selected software/technology that aligns with the academiccontent curriculum;· provide on-going professional development for EETT tools and other technology resources, i.e., laptopcomputers, interactive whiteboards, projectors, student response systems, document cameras, digitalcameras, audio/video, etc., across the curriculum and grade levels
