Specifications include, but are not limited to: Safety and Security Risk and Vulnerability AssessmentA. Conduct on-site (school by school) safety and security risk and vulnerability assessments using a standardized assessment instrument and process. 1. Assess all aspects of each school and ancillary work sites business continuity, emergency management, fire safety, law enforcement, life safety, risk management and safety and security programs to include: •Access Control and Management • Architectural Design and Campus Configuration • Site-Based Emergency Response Activity • Disaster Recovery •Electronic Safety and Security Applications, Infrastructure and Standards • Emergency Communications Applications and Standards • Emergency Drills and Operation •Evacuation Plans and Safe School Plans to include, but not limited to, bomb threat assessment and active shooter plans •Evacuation Plans per School Site • Identification Badges • Infrastructure Protection • Interface with Central Office Administration on School Safety Matters • Interface with District Contracted Monitoring and Safety and Security Providers • Interior Safety and Security and Monitoring • Pedestrian and Traffic Safety • Perimeter Protection • Physical Safety and Security Applications and Standards • Public Safety Response Capabilities • Deployment and Utilization of Safety and security Personnel • Specialized Programs (i.e., Weapons Screening Program) • Sporting Events and Extracurricular Activities • School-based Training • Student Safety Programs • Threat Assessment Programs • Transportation (Bus) Safety • Visitor Management • Other Areas As Agreed Upon 2. Meet with each school’s principal, leadership team, Safe School Coordinator, safety and security personnel and Worcester Police Department Liaison to conduct assessment interviews
