Hopedale Town Park provides a multi-use recreational space that includes a baseball field, batting cage, tennis courts, basketball court, bandstand, and playground area. The park is bounded to the north by Northrop Street, to the west by Dutcher Street, to the south by Freedom Street, and to the east by multiple residential abutters. The work for this project consists of the following: A rehabilitation of the park including regrading, stormwater improvements, removal and construction of a new natural grass softball field, removal and construction of three (3) new tennis courts, removal and construction of one (1) basketball court new playground surfacing, HMA and flexible porous pavement walkways, new electrical service and underground wiring, lighting, segmental block concrete retaining wall, concrete pads, irrigation system, and other associated site improvements. Bids shall be on a lump sum basis, with additive alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form.
