1. The contractor shall connect the lower pond to the irrigation pond by excavating from the East (small) Irrigation Pond to Aquaphor’s Pond on the South-West end of the property 2. Soils will be excavated to a depth 4’ 6” in order to maintain an acceptable depth below the frost line in order to prevent freezing of trapped water and remove the need to carry pitch or drainage of the pipe. 3. The contractor shall supply 8” DR17 HDPE and install approximately 1,862.65 feet with appropriate elbows and fittings no greater than 45 degrees. All joints will be properly thrust blocked. 4. The contractor shall install the new system components and all piping connections in the agreed upon locations with the Course Superintendent and Golf Course Director. 5. The contractor will have to cut and repave the cart path crossing (approximately 5’ wide) on Hole #15 where necessary. 6. Backfill will consist of ordinary borough where acceptable. 7. The area where the work is to occur will be backfilled compacted and landscape remediation will be the last step. Loam and seed will be applied to the area of excavation impact by Widows Walk staff. 8. Dig safe will be utilized and all utilities to be marked prior to excavation to avoid irrigation pipes and electrical. 9. A pump is not to be included in this project 10. The Contractor shall provide all materials, labor and equipment to complete the job in an orderly and clean fashion unless otherwise specified.
