Assist and participate in the alignment of TSS Asset Management process across multiple teams Developing and implementing the CMDB strategy, governance framework, and data quality standards. Designing and configuring CI classes, relationships, and dependencies to support accurate service mapping. Overseeing discovery, integrations, and reconciliation with key systems (ServiceNow, ServiceDesk, Armis, HP Workforce Experience, Monitoring, Network/Security, Backup, DR and other systems/teams). Ensuring alignment with ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Asset Management and Observability & Event Management). Creating dashboards, reports, and executive-level views for infrastructure health and service dependencies. Facilitating knowledge transfer and training to agency staff. Provide direction and rollout assistance to support onboarding of teams to ensure success of CMDB process Provide upfront strategic project plan including phased rollout and adoption milestones Under the resultant contract, the Successful Bidder shall provide the following services: CMDB Implementation Roadmap & Governance Framework Strategic project plan with phased rollout and adoption milestones. Defined governance roles, responsibilities, and processes. Design & Configuration of CMDB CI class structure and relationship mapping. Integration design for monitoring, security, operating systems (OS) backup, DR, and network platforms. Discovery & Integration Strategy Tool integrations (e.g., OpsRamp, Armis, HP Workforce Experience,, SolarWinds, Splunk ITSI, ServiceNow, backup/DR platforms). Automated data collection and reconciliation processes. Dashboards & Reporting CI ownership dashboards. Service health and executive-level reporting dashboards. Documentation & Knowledge Transfer End-user training and knowledge transfer sessions. Process documentation and operational runbooks. Required Qualifications: Bidders must demonstrate expertise in: Leading full-scale CMDB rollouts in large IT service organizations or government agencies. Expert-level knowledge of ServiceNow, CMDB, Asset Management, Discovery, and Service Mapping. Proven experience across multiple IT domains (Service Desk, Network, Security, Server, OS, Asset Management, backup, DR, Monitoring). Strong background in advanced ITIL including v4 Configuration Management practices. Developing dashboards and reporting for both operational and executive audiences. Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with both technical and executive stakeholders. Assigned SME’s resume shall be included as part of bid submission. Preferred Certifications/Experience: ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist/Expert – CMDB and Discovery. Prior experience in government IT operations, compliance, asset and security environments. Familiarity with infrastructure monitoring platforms (OpsRamp, SolarWinds, Armis, HP Workforce Experience, Splunk ITSI). Demonstrable expertise in CMDB development and maturity
