Specifications include, but are not limited to: MeHI has begun work on the communication and outreach strategy and execution plan. However, we need qualified assistance in its completion. Specifically we expect the qualified firm to have a comprehensive knowledge of health IT in Massachusetts and nationally, and provide the creative expertise that will be applied to all aspects of executing the plan, including, but not limited to content development (writing), graphic design, information design and curriculum development. It is anticipated that this contract will begin February/March 2013 and run through January 31, 2014, with the majority of the work being executed within the next 4 to 6 months. MeHI requires expertise in the following areas: a. Identifying and prioritizing our audiences Working with each team within MeHI, identify the segments of primary audiences MeHI will target, determining which are the most critical. Note that the top-level primary audience has been identified as healthcare providers. b. Developing a tactical plan and associated activities Working with the MeHI team and building upon the MeHI Strategic communication and outreach framework, develop specific operational tactics and associated activities. The vendor will develop the plan, implement it, and then measure the results using a defined set metrics. c. Developing awareness and adoption campaigns Develop specific campaigns that will reach each segment of MeHIs audience, including the development of the messages and identification of the vehicles for disseminating the messages and assist the MeHI team with the execution. d. Creating strong, clear messages and content Building upon the branding and messaging, build a strong set of messages and related content that will move the audience to action. e. Developing or leveraging, high-impact delivery vehicles Define the communication vehicles that will carry the messages to MeHIs target audiences, keeping in mind that MeHI has limited resources. Once defined, leverage these vehicles according to the message dissemination schedule. You must define which of these vehicles will be the most influential, based on the ones most leveraged by our audiences. Additionally, you will design the look and feel of each output that will be in line with MeHIs branding, including graphical and informational design. f. Designing and implementing evaluation metrics Develop and implement evaluation metrics for each of the objectives and campaigns.
