Specifications include, but are not limited to: Massachusetts Maritime Academy Cleaning Service Expectations: • Daily cleaning & disinfecting services M-F 4pm-1am, Excludes State Holidays, Campus Closures. • Contractor pays for and provides-all labor, equipment, chemicals, and supplies necessary. • All chemicals must be fragrance free and use Environmentally Preferable Cleaning Products, Programs, Equipment and Supplies, as outlined in the MA Operational Services Division • MMA pays for and provides-consumables, toilet paper, paper towels, sanitary products, urinal screens, and can liners. Contractor fills consumable dispensers daily and as needed. • Contractor pays for CORI background check of onsite employees in July each year and provides results to MMA for review and approval before July 1. New hires must have CORI background check and approval by MMA prior to first day of onsite work. • MMA will interview dedicated onsite supervisor for approval. VCT Floors will be stripped and waxed (4 coats) once annually either over the summer or winter breaks. 11. VCT Floors will be buffed to a shine quarterly. 12. VCT Floors will be swept daily and scrubbed cleaned daily or weekly as necessary 13. Carpet flooring = 100,000sqft 14. Carpet Floors will be shampoo washed extracted twice per year during the summer and winter break 15. Carpet Floors will be vacuumed and spot cleaned daily. 16. Restroom floors deep scrub cleaning including all grout lines will be done semiannually during the summer and winter breaks. 17. Trash will be brought by contractor to designated central location in one or more of the buildings serviced. 18. Keep classroom door unlocked after service 19.
