Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Town of Monterey is seeking Bids for the mowing, trimming and maintenance of its five (5) cemeteries and Veterans Memorial Park for a contract term of three (3) years, not to include the winter seasons, where such services will not be required. Each bid shall include a price broken down by hourly wages for all special and/or emergency maintenance (prevailing wages shall apply to employees), as well as a price per mowing and trimming to complete each of the properties. All bidders must have valid liability and workers compensation insurance throughout the life of the contract. Contractor shall furnish his/her own equipment suitable to carry out the work in a professional and efficient manner. All work shall be performed at such times as specified in the Scope of Services. The Cemetery Commission is the awarding authority and reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive minor informalities or irregularities in any proposal and to make an award in any manner consistent with the law and deemed to be in the best interest of the Town of Monterey.
