The Banta-Davis Recreation Area is a 40-acre facility in Carlisle, Massachusetts, featuring diverse recreational amenities. These include a ¼-mile asphalt running track surrounding a multi-purpose field, a toddler playground, and trails connecting to other parts of town. The Recreation Department is seeking the rehabilitation of the track as detailed in the scope of services below. Vendors are asked to provide a written plan, timeline, and cost estimate for the following work: • Reclaim and repave the existing asphalt pathway around the field (approx. 11,800 SF) • Add two (2) rest area aprons along the pathway (approx. 160 SF total) • Add two (2) accessible (ADA-compliant) parking spaces (approx. 480 SF) • Install a connecting pathway from the new parking spaces to the main field pathway (approx. 180 SF) • Haul and dispose of any excess materials • Fine grade, compact, and machine-pave with a single 2.5" coat of bituminous concrete (compacted) • Line stripe all applicable areas
