Specifications include, but are not limited to: Responsible for providing security services at main campus, satellite campuses, and off campus events. 2.Responsible for providing safety and security related services designed to insure the safety and security of the students, faculty, staff, and visitors. 3.Responsible for assisting in the evacuation of buildings and grounds in the event of an emergency. 4. Able to operate the College’s two-way radio and telephone system. 5. Responsible for enforcing the College’s no-smoking policy. 6.Responsible for being in proper uniform with all the issued items and equipment and to be neat in appearance. 7.Responsible for being courteous and professional at all times. 8.Responsible for being responsive to the needs of the faculty, staff, students, and visitors. 9.Responsible for obeying orders given by the Director of Safety & Security or his/her designee. 10.Responsible for responding to incidents and emergencies in a timely manner. 11. Responsible for maintaining Shift Activity Reports. 12. Responsible for communicating his or her whereabouts at all times while on duty. 13. Responsible for enforcing all college policies, procedures, rules and regulations. 14. Responsible for generating and disseminating Incident Reports for all incidents or unusual occurrences. 15. Responsible for immediately informing the Director of Safety & Security or his/her designee.
