Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Sacramento Public Library Authority (SPLA) seeks proposals from licensed and experiencedCertified Financial Planners (CFPs) to work one-on-one, or with couples, in the CFP's office or in aplace of mutual choice with library customers for up to 10 hours to develop an individual or householdfinancial plan. Only those individuals, who have fully satisfied CFP board requirements and areauthorized to use the CFP® certification mark, may compete for this contract. Up to 20individuals/households will be participating for a total of 200 hours. At least one individual from thehousehold has been participating in a Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) InvestorEducation funded program, called Smart Investing for Women, for up to one year, through theSacramento Public Library. The review of proposals will be accomplished by a library ad hoc committeeof library employees. The 10 hours of certified financial planning meetings will take place, in-person,before February 28, 2010
