The Cable Access Station Manager shall report to, and their performance shall be monitored by, the Lincoln Town Administrator on behalf of the Select Board. The Cable Access Station Manager will provide the Town with the following services: PROGRAMMING AND CONTENT MANAGEMENT • Recording of in-person meetings and events, including night, weekends, & holidays • Editing and broadcasting of weekly meetings & events upon request. • Management of Town of Lincoln CASTUS programming • Ensure compliance with FCC regulations and community standards • Consulting with town departments and organizations on audio/visual needs or troubleshooting needs upon request. • Archive and maintain a library of all content. • Partner with other local area cable access programs to share programming content as appropriate. TECHNICAL OPERATIONS • Maintain broadcast equipment and facilities • Coordinate with signal providers to ensure continuous transmission • Coordinate equipment upgrades and technology transitions • Troubleshoot technical issues as they arise • Ensure the integrity and security of town cable access platforms and resources by following adhering to cybersecurity and following best practices.
