The vendor will develop a robust outreach and recruitment strategy to raise public awareness of the Boston Climate Jobs Alliance and the coastal and climate resilience training and career pathways available to Greater Boston residents. We seek to support a mix of high-reach strategies that engage the wider community and more targeted approaches that engage individuals with educational or economic barriers to employment. However, regardless of the approach, the proposed design must incorporate strategies to connect individuals to coastal and climate resilience training and employment opportunities. We anticipate reaching a minimum of 1,500 individuals with this funding, at least at the level of exposure. We expect that more intensive interventions seeking to increase enrollment of Boston residents into training opportunities will inevitably engage fewer individuals–but ideally, the initiative will drive at least 860 residents to pursue coastal and climate resilience by enrolling in Alliance-sponsored training programs with a 75% graduation rate and 75% of graduates placed in coastal resilience jobs by July 31, 2028.
