Specifications include, but are not limited to: Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire Protection upgrades to Blue Line Station communications rooms at the following stations: Bowdoin Platform Level State Mezzanine Level Aquarium Platform Level Airport Station Wood Island Suffolk Downs Beachmont Revere Beach Wonderland Work includes replacement of existing wall AC units with N+1, split industrial type units and replacement of existing clean agent fire protection systems as indicated. Work also includes the sealing of the gaps in sleeves for conduits and piping through perimeter walls, along with other holes or block outs with adequate fire proofing materials or structured grout to maintain fire rating of room enclosure, replacement of existing doors and gasketing, along with existing access control and intrusion detection door hardware devices and other miscellaneous work as indicated. Electrical work includes new feeder and branch circuit work, along with installation of new rack mounted UPS units and supporting infrastructure. Work for Bowdoin includes replacing existing equipment racks in the ROW located communications room with new steel equipment case on the end of the public platform as indicated, with integral rack mounted UPS, and N+1 closed loop AC units. Primary and redundant fiber optic cable links back to the existing communications room from this new location are included in the work as indicated. Work for Suffolk Downs Station includes replacing the existing communications room with a new prefabricated, factory fit out, bungalow, located at the end of the platform adjacent to the existing communications room as indicated.
