Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Soldiers’ Home in Holyoke is seeking a provider (physicians, nurses, psychologists and mental health clinicians) to provide a continuum of psychiatric and neurobehavioral services to our Veterans. The Soldiers’ Home also requires: Clinicians and psychiatrists will visit the facility on a regular basis. Clinicians will visit the facility at least once per week, every week. Psychiatrists will visit the facility at least once per quarter and would be available for a visit and consultation if deemed necessary within two weeks. By Soldiers’ Home policy, veterans on psychotropic medications will need to be seen and re-evaluated at a minimum of once per quarter. Providers should be available to discuss individual Veteran needs with Soldiers’ Home staff and other mental health providers. Visit documentation should be available within 48 hours. The provider will respond to requests by Soldiers’ Home staff to evaluate the clinical needs or our veterans. These may include medication evaluation, determination of a need for individual counseling, development of written behavioral intervention plans, testing, determination of competency and assistance in obtaining hospitalization as needed.
