Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Town of Marion, Massachusetts, acting by and through its Board of Selectmen, is seeking bids for review of archival collections for appropriate disposition, boxing, reboxing, reshelving and the development of an electronic inventory and access control program for the town’s historic, administrative and vital records, which are primarily stored at the Marion Town House and Sippican School. Equipment 30 sections of proper archive shelving (measuring 76” high, 42” wide, 30” deep)with four adjustable shelves, all of which will house approximately 1,440 boxes. Supplies 1,440 archive quality boxes, 1,440 box labels, 200 transfer/request forms. Boxes shall be industry standard (“01”) boxes, measuring approx.. 15”x12”x10”, with lids System A database suitable for computerized control of archival storage including: contents, location, department, and disposal date.
