Specifications include, but are not limited to:Annual Aerodrome GSE Vehicle Permit Safety Inspection Program, Logan International Airport, Aviation Security Unit, Parking Violations Office (PVO), Terminal C, East Boston, MA. Services will be conducted at Logan International Airport and locations at the airport may be added or subtracted during the term of the agreement. 1) The awarded vendor will be responsible for conducting a physical safety inspection of approximately 1,500 to 1,600 motorized aviation Ground Service Equipment (GSE) vehicles and certify that they have passed their annual safety inspection. GSE includes baggage tugs or tractors, aircraft pushback tugs, lavatory trucks, belt loaders, cargo container loaders, de-icing trucks, aviation fuel tankers, front end loaders used for snow removal, etc. These vehicles are not registered for public roadway use. 2) A sample check list of the safety items to be inspected on each vehicle is included with this RFP package (Attachment G). 3) The owners or sponsors of the GSE vehicles are Logan Airport tenants or ground operations service providers such as Delta Airlines, Swissport Fueling, Federal Express, etc.
