Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of this Request for Response is to solicit providers of driver evaluations, consultations and driver training for individuals with disabilities who will require vehicle modifications or adaptive driver education services. Applicants may apply to provide adaptive driver evaluations, adaptive driver training or both. All providers will be expected to provide consultation upon request. Qualified adaptive driver evaluation provider(s) will provide functional assessments and adaptive driver evaluations to determine the individual’s need for vehicle modifications, the nature and extent of modifications, the type of vehicle necessary, the individual’s ability to operate the vehicle safely and the extent of adaptive driver education/training services the individual is likely to need to be able to independently operate the vehicle.
