Specifications include, but are not limited to: The University of Massachusetts Lowell is soliciting bids for integrated security installations and service at its main campus in Lowell as well as its satellite locations in Andover, Haverhill and Lincoln, MA. This work may include, but not be limited to, low voltage cabling, both copper and fiber, and related work such as terminations, labeling, panels and related equipment. Occasional line voltage work is also required for the installation/service of low voltage power supplies. The awarded contractor must also have the ability to purchase, install and service Lenel access control, ONVIF camera, and Code Blue emergency phone components, including reader interface boards, IP phones, amplifiers, blue lights, and public address speakers. All installations and repairs are to be performed in a turnkey fashion including, but not limited to, door/frame/hinge modifications, door hardware calibration and cleaning, patching of any penetrations, certifying/recertifying fire rated doors if modified, firestopping and certifying any rated penetrations, installation of new receptacles as needed for low voltage power supplies, interfacing with light controls and fire alarm panels, certification of new network cable runs for security devices, and programming of field devices.
