The Work of this Contract generally consists of 1,900 linear feet of cleaning and cement lining 10-inch diameter water main in Atlantic Avenue and Beach Bluff Avenue, including hydrant and gate valve replacement in Atlantic Avenue, and gate valve replacement in the intersecting streets, abandoning 650 linear feet of 6-inch main in Beach Bluff Avenue, and construction of approximately 660 linear feet of new 8-inch diameter ductile iron water main, including replacement of associated gate valves, hydrants, service connections, fittings and appurtenances in Palmer Avenue. All work except permanent pavement must be completed within 120 calendar days.
