The Town of Orleans proposes to design and build a new Fire-Rescue facility located at the site of the current Fire-Rescue Station on Eldredge Park Way. The Town seeks Designer services to support the design and construction of a new FireRescue Station, and to provide guidance on its impacts to the existing Orleans Elementary School (OES) and the potential future development of a Community Center. The Orleans 2040 Campus Feasibility Study evaluated the current and future needs of three key municipal facilities - the Orleans Fire-Rescue Station, OES and a potential Community Center - located at 46 and 58 Eldredge Park Way. It was initiated in response to aging infrastructure, capacity constraints, and evolving community expectations. The feasibility project study involved a needs assessment for each facility, a site analysis of the Town-owned property, and an exploration of multiple redevelopment scenarios, including approximately ten conceptual site configurations. Each option considered critical factors such as: • Building and site programmatic needs • Emergency vehicle circulation and public access • Parking and pedestrian safety • Long-term scheduling and sustainability • Phasing and construction sequencing • Capital and operational costs • Future adaptability and community benefit
