The United States Air Force (USAF) Materiel Command Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC), Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Division (AFLCMC/HBN) has the requirement to procure three AN/TPS-77 Multi-Role Radars (MRRs) in support of critical missions for the country of Lithuania and as part of the overarching Baltics 333 Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) effort.
This procurement will include: (1) three AN/TPS-77 MRRs, (2) integration of M-Code secure GPS, (3) training, (4) Interim Contractor Support (ICS), including reach back support, and (5) AIMS Mode 5 contractor test support, necessary cybersecurity upgrades, and equipment to allow for AIMS Mode 5 platform level certification, (6) spares, (7) travel, transportation, and shipping as needed, and (8) ancillary services associated with manufacturing and installation of the radar.
The original equipment manufacturer for the AN/TPS-77 MRR is Lockheed Martin. Interested vendors must have a demonstrated capability to design develop, test, procure, transport, deliver, install, and provide ongoing support for the AN/TPS-77 MRR and associated equipment. The USG does not own the technical data package for the radar system; hence the vendor must have legal authority, including the necessary rights to all applicable patents and copyrights to manufacture the AN/TPS-77 MRRs and associated equipment. The vendor must have the capability and demonstrated experience of providing training and logistic support for the AN/TPS-77 MRRs and associated equipment. The vendor must be a US owned company. Any vendor that does not have the legal authority to produce the AN/TPS-77 MRR will not be considered for this effort.
