Specifications include, but are not limited to: The work consists of the replacement of approximately 875 feet of 6-inch water pipe in Randolph Terrace from Randolph St to Randolph St with new 8-inch pipe, approximately 1,575 feet of 6-inch water pipe in Old Randolph St from Randolph St to Randolph St with new 8-inch pipe, the abandonment of approximately 7,680 feet of old 6-inch water pipe in Randolph St from Washington St to past Westchester St by transferring water services and hydrant laterals from the 6-inch pipe to existing lined 10-inch and 12-inch pipes in Randolph St and the abandonment of approximately 1,565 feet of old 6-inch water pipe in Bolivar St from Washington St to Bolivar Pond by transferring water services and hydrant laterals from the 6-inch pipe to existing lined 10 and 12-inch pipes in Bolivar St. and new water main and services on Crane St. The new water main work will also include new hydrants and new services. Surface restoration work includes temporary and permanent trench patching on all streets. Sidewalks, curbs, driveways, and grass areas will be restored in-kind. The project also includes temporary by-passing piping and services on all project streets. The project shall be substantially completed including permanent paving by May 23, 2025, or within 406 consecutive calendar days from the date specified in Section 00650 Notice to Proceed, including the winter moratorium and inclusive of final paving.
