Specifications include, but are not limited to: Contractor will replace the existing AO Smith Oil Fired Water Heater. Contractor will drain down and remove the existing water heater from the site. Contractor will provide and install a new oil fired water heater (A.O Smith COF-455A Commercial Oil Water Heater. 430 GPH Recovery. 75 Gallon Storage Capacity or equivalent), install new flue pipe thru roof, and install tank thermometer. Contractor will calibrate the burner and provide a combustion testing report. Contractor will connect all oil lines, water piping, and electric to existing. Contractor will fill water heater, check for leaks, and start up and check operation. Contractor will provide all materials and labor germane to the installation as part of the base pricing. Contractor will obtain all required permits and registrations. See Attachment 1 for water heater specifications. Vendor will provide a signed W9 with quote. Vendor will complete the attached Business Relationship Affidavit and submit with their response Work will be scheduled with SMCPS, Department of Maintenance, and performed between the hours of 6:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m., Monday through Fridays except when “all schools and offices closed” as indicated on the SMCPS operational calendar. The SMCPS’ calendar and school closing updates are available for view at www.smcps.org. No Vendor will be allowed to offer more than one price for each item or service even though the Vendor may feel that they have two or more choices that meet specifications. Vendors must determine for themselves which to offer. If the Vendor should submit more than one price on any item or service, all prices for that item or service will be rejected. Vendor shall ensure that all employees report to the main office in school buildings daily to sign-in and sign-out while work is being performed.
