Specifications include, but are not limited to: Kiewit is preparing to respond to the Request for Proposals issued by the Washington Metro Area Transportation Authority (WMATA) to provide Design-Build Services to deliver the Bethesda South Mezzanine Rehabilitation Project. The Project scope includes the design and construction of a new mezzanine at the south end of the Bethesda Metro station, in Bethesda, Maryland. The south mezzanine will connect to a new entrance allowing for entry at the south end of the station. Primary elements of the new mezzanine include precast stairs, escalators, elevators, pylons, a kiosk, exit fare machine, and fare gates. Kiewit is assembling a team to respond to the RFP issued by WMATA, and is actively seeking to engage local, small, and diverse firms interested in subcontractor and supplier opportunities on the Project (upon award).
