Specifications include, but are not limited to: a. Supply and blend treatment to all tanks on a bi-monthly basis starting in February of each calendar year. Treatment will be dosed at the level to meet the minimum specification required. Dosage applied at each site will be based on the full tank volume and not on the tank level at the time of the application. b. The Contractor will provide a schedule of planned treatment dates and locations to Fleet Management. c. The Contractor will provide diesel additive that will lower the Cold Filter Plug Point of the base fuel by at least fourteen (14) degrees and provide an improvement of at least fifty (50) microns ; The Contractor must document product’s cetane improvement properties, detergent properties and demulsifiers. The anti-oxidant additives must improve the base fuel by minimum of 50 minutes when tested under ASTM D7525 and the rust and corrosion inhibitors must produce a “no rust” result in NACE testing.
