Specifications include, but are not limited to: 3.2.1.1Dental and Pediatric Educational PlanThe vendor will implement and evaluate an educational plan to address inappropriate or unnecessary prescribing practices of controlled substances with a specific focus on youth (12-29 years old) and dental prescribing practices. The vendor will utilize the findings from the review of existing dental prescribing practices and prescriptions written for youth and young adults in theidentified areas completed in Year 3 and 4 of the grant. The vendor will research existing resources for the dental and pediatric community to identify resources to educate the providers. The vendor will collaborate with OPER to identify pediatric stakeholders and bring them together as a workgroup to review their practices and feedback on providing safe prescribing education. Additionally, the vendor will assist in developing new resources for the dental and pediatric communities. The vendor will implement an evaluation on the dissemination of the resources developed in Year 4; provide recommendations for new resources based on the evaluation, and support the development of new resources for the pediatric community.The vendor will work with OPER on additional data collection and/or analysis as needed.3.2.1.2Dental and Pediatric Educational Plan Deliverables3.2.1.2.1Update the Google drive of resources for stakeholder groups to review and identify best resources to adapt or share with their peers.3.2.1.2.2 Support the development of new resources based on work with stakeholders on message development, layout, and dissemination vehicles.3.2.1.2.3 Organize and recruit pediatric stakeholders in partnership with OPER by providing a list of stakeholders and contact information.3.2.1.2.4Host Pediatric community Stakeholder workgroup meeting to discuss and develop resources to meet their needs. Provide the dates, attendance, and meeting minutes.3.2.1.2.5Assess the impact of provider resources and provide a summary report of recommendations to enhance current and developing resources3.2.1.2.6Modify resources and/or dissemination methods of resources based on evaluation results3.2.1.3 Technical Assistance for CRISP DashboardsThe vendor will provide Technical Assistance with OPER to CRISP Dashboard Users based on the findings from the evaluation of CRISP Data Dashboards completed in Year 3. The team will implement a technical assistance plan describing the methods of technical assistance for the local health departments to address the findings from the mixed methods evaluation analysis completed in Year 3. During Year 5, the vendor will implement the technical assistance plan. Methods of implementing technical assistance to the local health department CRISP Dashboard users include developing webinars to address the findings and recommendations from the Year 3 evaluation, working with OPER in developing new resources and guidance materials for utilizing and interpreting the data found in the CRISP Dashboards, and addressing new issues that arise with the dashboard during the year. The vendor should draw from their experience with the local health departments when enhancing current guidance materials and developing new resources with the OPER. The vendor will develop evaluation tools to evaluate the implementation of the technical assistance plan. The technical assistance resources and webinars will have follow-up surveys to evaluate their effectiveness and gather feedback to update the resources in order to meet the needs of the dashboard users.
