Awarded Bidder will provide sampling, analytical, and laboratory services for drinking water samples submitted on behalf of the Harford County Public School system. All samples must be methodically processed within the preservation and holding times set forth by the EPA. The procedure utilized shall be those in which the Awarded Bidder is laboratory certified in. Other sample analysis shall follow EPA, ASTM, SM protocol for drinking water. 3.3 Awarded Bidder shall ensure that all samples are analyzed in accordance with EPA regulations utilizing an approved water quality laboratory. 3.4 Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) shall be performed by the Awarded Bidder at no additional cost to HCPS. This should be standard practice to ensure data quality. 3.5 Awarded Bidder must physically report to work sites within twenty-four (24) hours of written or verbal notification by HCPS’ Environmental Compliance Coordinator. If the HCPS Environmental Compliance Coordinator tells the Awarded Bidder that the work to be performed is an emergency, the Awarded Bidder must physically report to the site within four (4) hours and phone in a quotation to HCPS’ Environmental Compliance Coordinator. 3.6 Parameters for Sampling and Analysis: 3.6.1 Coliform – Sample drawn, analyzed, and report submitted to MDE and copied to HCPS as per State requirements. 3.6.2 Nitrates – Sample drawn, analyzed, and report submitted to MDE and copied to HCPS as per State requirements. 3.6.3 VOCs – Sample drawn, analyzed, and report submitted to MDE and copied to HCPS as per State requirements.
