Specifications include, but are not limited to: 3.2.3.1.1 Observe conditions of areas and decide on necessary routine cleaning to follow. 3.2.3.1.2 Observe the position of furniture, desk equipment locations, conditions of lights, any damage to building or equipment, or articles of value left exposed. Report any unusual conditions to the facility Duty Officer immediately. 3.2.3.1.3 Thoroughly clean glass both sides of all doors and entryway glass. 3.2.3.1.4 Dry mop or sweep and damp mop all hard floors, using treated mops. 3.2.3.1.5 Vacuum and spot clean carpets. 3.2.3.1.6 Empty all interior and exterior waste baskets into trash handling containers. Replace wastebasket liners. If in doubt about anything, put aside and leave a note to staff member in the area. Hazardous (bio-hazard) waste shall be picked up and disposed of in designated containers. 3.2.3.1.7 Dispose of all waste in containers provided by the owner. Disposable trash and recyclable waste paper shall be collected and kept separate for pick-up. 3.2.3.1.8 Thoroughly clean by damp mopping all entrance floor areas soiled by rain or snow conditions. 3.2.3.1.9 Wash marks from walls as soon as they appear. 3.2.3.2.0 Remove finger marks from interior door glass, partition glass, lights, desk glass, and all other highly polished surfaces. 3.2.3.2.1 Clean thoroughly all drinking fountains. 3.2.3.2.2 Wash and sanitize all hand basins, toilet bowls, sinks, urinals and showers. 3.2.3.2.3 Scrub and damp mop all washroom floors, wipe clown tile walls, polish mirrors, powder shelves, faucets, flushometers, and all brightwork, such as hinges and chrome-plated piping. 3.2.3.2.4 Fill toilet tissue holders, soap dispensers, and towel dispensers. 3.2.3.2.5 Spot damp-wipe all hard surface floors and spot clean all carpets. 3.2.3.2.6 Clean and disinfect all interior and exterior door handles or crash bars. 3.2.3.2.7 Daily duties shall be provided at all facilities three (3) days per week, Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Times will be approved by command staff. 3.2.3.2.8 Damp mop all vinyl floors. (Note: Do not use an excessive amount of water when scrubbing floors. Tile replacement required because of use of excessive water shall be the responsibility of the Contractor.) 3.2.3.2.9 All floors, doors, walls, benches and toilets in prisoner cells must be cleaned and disinfected each visit.
