Specifications include, but are not limited to: The MDOT MTA is seeking to deliver the Project via the Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) project delivery method as defined in the Code of Maryland Regulations (COMAR) 21.05.10. It is the intent of MDOT MTA to enter into a GMP contract for the construction of the project and be involved in the oversight of the bidding process for subcontractors. MDOT MTA may elect to utilize the same Contractor selected to perform preconstruction services under this solicitation to also perform the construction services via contract amendment. This decision will be based on in part, but not limited to, performance during the Pre-construction phase and the ability to negotiate an acceptable GMP.
