Specifications include, but are not limited to: Funding Opportunity 1: Cancer Prevention, Education, Screening and Treatment (CPEST) Program To provide direct cancer education, outreach, case management, screening services, and followup of abnormal results for program-eligible individuals for the purposes of prevention, early detection and treatment of colorectal cancer. The additional provision of cancer prevention, education, screening and treatment services may also be considered for one or more of the following cancers: breast, cervical, skin (melanoma), prostate (diagnostic testing only), oral and/or lung. The program may provide insured individuals who are low-income with patient navigation services. Funding Opportunity 2: Breast and Cervical Cancer Program (BCCP) To provide direct outreach, screening, diagnostic, and patient navigation services to programeligible women with the goal of maximizing the number of women screened for breast and cervical cancers. Program eligible women include low income, uninsured or underinsured women ages 40 to 64 for breast cancer screening and women ages 21 to 64 for cervical cancer screening in Prince George’s County. Insured women who are low-income may be eligible for patient navigation services provided by the program.
