Specifications include, but are not limited to: A contract for the design, furnish and install of Playground Equipment at Hampstead Elementary School, 3737 Shiloh Road, Hampstead, MD 21074. The new playground shall be installed in an area behind the school, approximately 5900 sq ft., and shall connect two (2) existing playgrounds. The site location will be clear of all equipment. The playground equipment shall be designed (including installation costs) to maximize the available funds of $150,000, and vendors should maximize the use of any manufacturer’s matching funds or grants that may be available and reflect such in their proposal. The design of the playground should be imaginative and provide for a variety of activities for children ages 5-12. The playground must be able to accommodate 60 students at any one time.
