Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1.The Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, tools, equipment, material, supplies, transportation, and insurance necessary to complete a variety of carpentry assignments related, but not limited to, various office/building renovations and emergency restoration services. 2.The Contractor shall supply a carpenter who meets the minimum qualifications listed elsewhere in this IFB. The Contractor shall supply a carpenter’s helper/apprentice to assist in complex jobs. 3.The carpenter shall have the ability to read and understand blueprints, plans, and sketches. Where work is being performed in preparation for other trades to coordinate, the carpenter shall have the ability to make sketches and write instructions on how the interfacing works with the other trades during the preparation.4.The carpenter shall have the ability to successfully interact with, and take verbal or written directions, provided in English, from, MDOT SHA personnel. 5.The Contractor must be capable of coordinating with other trades (e.g., electricians, plumbers, painters, carpet installers, etc.) concurrently performing work on designated projects.
