The Gallery Building at 212 West Main Street is one of the historic buildings located in downtown Salisbury. Once a Woolworths Department Store, the approximately 60,000 SF building was renovated and converted to mixed-use tenant spaces in the mid-1990s primarily for 1st and 2nd floor retail and 3rd and 4th floor offices suites. The building extends a full block deep and links Main Street to Camden Street with a common corridor. Original construction is brick masonry with wood floor framing supported by interior steel columns and beams. A 2-story addition fronting Camden Street is constructed of modern materials; concrete masonry bearing walls, interior steel columns, steel joists, and metal pan and concrete floor system. Two additions spanning over the Camden Street sidewalk were added during the 1990 renovation. . B. The Project to renovate approximately 2,400 SF within Suite 305 for the ESRGC (Eastern Shore Regional GIS Cooperative) offices will primarily involve the following: 1. Converting the current 2-story suite into separated 3rd and 4th floor suites. 2. Demolition of Suite 305 internal stair and construction of new enclosed stair from 3rd floor common area to 4th floor suite. 3. Partial demolition of existing walls and construction of new partitions. 4. Carpentry and casework. 5. New floor, ceiling and paint finishes. 6. Telecommunication and Audio Visual systems. 7. Replacement of AC equipment and ductwork modifications. 8. New lighting
