Specifications include, but are not limited to: a. Replacement of existing deteriorated timber ties and switch ties at the Owings Mils Interlocking and Trail Tracks. b. Resurfacing both ballasted mainline tracks from the Rogers Avenue Interlocking to the east end of Bridge 696 at Owings Mills. c. Correction of surface and alignment defects at the transition zones between the ends of Bridges 506, 550, 569, 656, 696, and the Sudbrook Tunnel and adjacent ballasted track. d. Replacement of portions of existing continuous welded running rail (CWR) along selected sections of track on the northbound and southbound METRO mainline tracks. e. Replacement of bonded insulated joints (IJ’s) along selected sections of tracks and replacement of one insulated joint. f. Replacement of existing direct-fixation fasteners on Bridge 656 and on Track 1 of the Sudbrook Tunnel. g. g. Replacement of monoblock concrete crossties at select portions from h. Reisterstown Plaza to Rogers Avenue
