Specifications include, but are not limited to: 12 VOLT ELECTRICAL OEM SYSTEM: The existing alternator and battery shall remain in place unless noted below. This will retain the full factory warranty on this part of the system. AFTERMARKET SYSTEM: All aftermarket items such as the emergency lighting and electrical equipment shall be connected to a high quality circuit protection master breaker including a manual disconnect for easy trouble shooting if a dealer service center needs to isolate our part of the system. All components that do not require constant power shall be connected to a high power switch activated by the ignition switch to eliminate accessories being left on accidentally when the vehicle is not in operation. These connections and components shall be mounted under the hood in an area that will not be affected by normal and routine Service and OEM repairs. Placards shall be positioned to identify some of the components and service contact information. AUXILIARY BATTERY SYSTEM: Auxiliary battery system consisting of one OEM battery for the inverter and 12 volt lighting and accessories and a second battery dedicated to the generator starting system. Batteries will charge when the engine or generator is running and automatically transfer to shore power when present. POWER POINTS: 12 volt cigarette lighter and USB style outlets located at each work station and on the rear wall. 120 VOLT ELECTRICAL . GENERATOR: One Onan QD 120 volt, 60 Hz Onan 8,000 watt quiet commercial diesel installed in a custom fabricated aluminum enclosure with a access doors accessible from the rear doors for service and control areas. This enclosure will be soundproofed and covered eliminating noise and fumes from entering the cabin and to protect the generator from equipment stored near the location. Fuel Supply: Piped into the fuel tank short of bottom to retain approximately ¼ tank of fuel for vehicle transportation. Exhaust: Piped into the underside of the vehicle and extended to the street side rear corner to avoid any fumes from entering the interior cabin areas. Start/Run: Panel mounted at the operator’s control area and includes an hour-meter. The generator can be started while the vehicle is being driven.
